Happy Brithday Matthew!!

My baby brother's birthday is today!! I have unfortunately not been able to send something to him (he lives in Hawaii) so I made cinnamon rolls this morning in his honor...I guess I will owe him some when he comes home. He is getting ready to send his mission papers in and I am so excited! Happy Birthday Matthew!!

Poor Caidence

Saturday night Caidence cut her ear with hair scissors and needed stitches. After we put the kids to bed one of them decided it would be a good idea to give the cat a hair cut. They managed to get on top of the sink, open the medicine cabinet and get the scissors. They cut a lot of Carmel's hair then I guess Caidence decided she would cut her own hair. She missed and got her ear instead. Luckily urgent care was open until nine so Marc took her because I was freaking out. She was in and out in an hour with three stitches and a new book. Quite the experience never did I think Caidence would be the first to get stitches...

Nicolas...classic...

Nicolas came to me last week and said "mom we need to cut your hair", "I do," I responded, "yeah it doesn't look very good." Hmm I knew my roots were bad but not bad enough that a 3 year old would notice. I wonder where he gets his attention to detail from? We all know where he gets his brutal honesty from. So needless to say I got my hair done today. Now if I can just get him to say I need new clothes in front of his dad...then we are in business!

Valentine fun

We had so much fun at our playgroup Valentine party. Wendy and Cindy did a great job!

WOO WOO that's right Brent and David are Marc's genius and generous cousins who have sold us a Mac computer that they have refurbished (right wording?) and we are so excited!! We are so lucky to have so many wonderful family members we love all of you!!

Tax Season WOO HOO!!

I literally can never wait for February to roll around because I love doing our taxes. It is so exciting to see the dollar amount keep on climbing. I never knew how much fun it could be until a few years ago when I had to file by myself. I was completely intimidated until I realized it was not that big of a deal. Now its my favorite time of year. I officially filed today and can not wait to get our money back so we can stucco the house, oh yeah no more weird looking stucco that turns green in the rain!! Even better Marc has finally admitted that he doesn't have the "time" (thank goodness) to do it himself so we are actually hiring people to do it. Yes shocking I know. So in 10 days the return should hit our account and I shall be doing the tax return dance. Similar to the cookie/fruit snack dance my children do...So good luck to all my fellow tax filers may your tax return dance be more wonderful than mine!!
